Agréable sortie ce jour ou la température a encore montée d'un cran.Menu un peu plus relevé que la veille agrémenté de belles bosses le tout toujours dans le valois bien calme en semaine.
Pierre nous a montré ses qualités de rouleur et gilles son état de forme,malgré lui, affuté le garçon.
Retour cette fois gros braquet histoire de vider toutes nos cartouches par la foret logique! Total 70 kms en 2h30.
Allez un dernier conseil pour preparer le roc rien de telle que la route ah bon entendeur salut!!!

Sortie route 28/02
Deux routier, en ce début de semaine, a savoir valentin et régis ont effectués une boucle de 60 kms dans le valois dans la douceur mais sous un ciel trop gris.Nous avons mis deux cotes a notre menu a savoir rosieres par le luat et baron! A l'issu de cette derniere cote valentin s'aperçut qu'il n'a pas récupéré de la sortie de dimanche, mais il n'a pas de quoi s'inquieter vu ses qualités il y aura des jours meilleurs, le vélo c'est comme ça... c'est ingra.Retour petit braquet du binome sur senlis.
Perso premiere sortie en semaine en cet fin d'hiver et cela fait du bien au moral et surtout aux jambes.

Tour de Broward
Last week I was on a business trip to Atlanta and was lucky enough to hop over to Miami to meet our friend (and on of VC Senlis founding fathers ;) Fred for the weekend. And meeting with Fred in Miami cannot be complete without a decent bike ride I told him in advance. Fred promised me a good ride... and sure as hell he kept that promise! Sunday we woke up very early to join the a charity ride called the Tour de Broward to raise money for a children's hospital. Fred promised me a couple of things:
1) He promised that there would be a lot of bikers. He was not lying: there must have been at least a thousand riders in different speed groups and distances (50 and 100 km)
2) He promised me that I would see nice bikes. He was not lying: I'm sure that I have never seen so many beautifull toys in one place. All the new stuff was there and everybody was on the high rim carbon wheels, with the newest frames of all the hot brands!
3) He promised me that the organisation would be good. He was not lying: it was perfect from the police stopping traffic at all lights to the technical support (just call and they're there - I had a flat) to the excellent lunch and exhibition park after the finish.
4) He promised me that the asphalt would be smooth. He was not lying: we took a few long straights where it was like rolling on a billiard table.
4) and finally he promissed me that they would ride fast. He was not definitely not bull shitting! We took of in the second group, after a super fast first group had already left (and we never saw again). Unfortunately we lost touch with a nice break away in the front of our group, but we still did 85 km (up to I had the flat) with an average of over 36 km/hour! It was incredible.
Those guys are very serious about their biking! It was a big adrenalin rush to be in such a big peloton of fast bikers.
The only tiny little problem was that I decided to bring some European weather so it rained at that start and it was not very warm (only 18 degr and that is like freezing for those poor Miami people ;-). But it also meant we did not took a lot of pictures, but here is one of us at the finish with one of Fred's friends Sergio.
I think I found the perfect place for next year's VC Senlis Winter Training Camp!!

Sortie Vtt cet après midi par une température printanière en forêt d'Halatte
Montée descente , montée descente , montée descente et enfin montée
descente le tout sur des chemins enfin sec et roulant , deux biches
en pleine descente du Mont Pagnotte ont pu admirer mon style
bien particulier.Et enfin photos à l'appui aprés 700m de dénivelé
j'ai tenté le saut saut de la mort sur un tronc d'arbre énorme
sans succés.

Sortie route 26/02
Nous étions donc deux ce matin au rendez vous pour fendre le bitume.Nous étions deux ce matin sur nos chemins a bicyclette a partir a un train de sénateur quand...nous rencontrons un groupe de veilles connaissances regroupant anciens et actuels coursiers,nous décidons de se joindre a eux et devinez quoi...et bien notre train de sénateur fut vite oublié enchainant les kilometres et les cotes.Mais rien ne nous perturberas et resterons veillament a l'avant du groupe.Seul la montée de montepilloy sur le retour fut de trop pour valentin et décida de quitter le groupe de tete qui fillait au pas de course.Retour tranquille, si si, par la route du biat. Bref un bon moment de vélo et mention a valentin qui n'a plus rien a envier a certain "vieux" coursier. Ah oui les chiffres 73 kms a 30Km/h.Tranquille non! Et derniere chose le printemps est arrivée!!

Il est bien évident que seules seront prises en compte les commandes des membres à jour de leurs cotisations. Les demandes "externes" seront traitées et validées par le bureau.
Sortie route du 25/02 – 65 kms
Sortie sympa cet après-midi en vélo de route avec Pierre, Guy, Régis, Hervé et David. On a commencé sous un ciel globalement clément et on a terminé sous une bruine un peu pénible. Cela ne nous a pas empêché d’aligner quelques 65 kms à 28,5 de moyenne et en 2h19m de temps de roulage. Comme d’habitude, Hervé enregistre 20 kms de plus à son compteur.
Pas de casse ou de crevaison, mais j’ai bien failli me coucher suite à une glissade de la roue arrière sur route mouillée. Plus de peur que de mal, et la sortie se termine bien!
